.: Day 3: Blessing out of the fever! :.

After battleing with the on going fever, waking up in the middle of the night to sponge myself, I woke up feeling much better the next day. Thanks to all my prayer warriors and God who made me better in such a stort time! Made a trip to the polyclinic at Marine Parade and the entire waiting process took me 3h! Never waited so long before. Something caught my eyes as I went about the long waiting process.

In the picture above, the papers with the room number, if you piece them together, they do appear to become a cross. It did not seem so ordinary to me then as I looked at it, and God was telling me, to look at my surroundings, to see the lives out there, that each and everyone of them who enters into the room to seek the Doctors consultation, indeed is walking to the cross and needs to come to know of His great love and healing grace for them! Woh!

I then prayed and ask God to give me the courage and opportunity to be able to speak to some old person, and to bless them. With the fever coming back and taking away my senses, and as I approach the final stop of making my payment and getting my medication, I thought maybe I would just give it a miss to bless someone this time. However this old ah ma came sitting besides me and after a while, she looked at me and smiled. Then with that, it started off our mini conversation, and to my suprised, she spoke the dialect, teo chew which I know. Hence with my limited vocab in teo chew, I just chatted with her. Although there was no clear blessing I did, but before she left, she patted on my back and we told each other to take care! At least I took up the courage to talk to someone, and also God indeed brought this old ah ma to me I felt.

Although the fever came back in the afternoon, I am determined that by night I will be much better, hence I arranged to meet up with an ex collegue of mine (He is going into NUS soon) for dinner. Thankfully I was well enough to go and meet him and I suggested a coffee shop near my place for dinner, and he readily agreed to come. Had a great time catching up with him, sharing with him handles for NUS life, telling him about situation in school. But end up, he was faster then me at the bill.. haha so no chance to bless him. However I then took out the 100k blessing card and he readily receive my prayers for him in the areas he indicated. Furthermore he walked me back right to my door step! So nice of him to do that! Following that he also smsed me and told me he enjoyed himself and thank me for bringing him to eat such good food as well as for my prayer blessing!

Yes! One live touched, one live blessed! One thing that I learnt is that even in the mist of being sick, body weak and literately brain burning, as long as you have the heart to bless, God will give you the opportunity and the strength. It is also a time where God allowed me to really just place all my trust in Him, especially in healing me from my fever and allowing me to recover faster then normal! Thats the power of PRAYERS! Lets pray such prayers upon our friends as we bless them and believe we are offering ANSWERED PRAYERS!
