As I read of the story of Nabal and Abigail with David, indeed Nabal is so foolish to have refused to open his heart to David's simple request for hospitality.



It hit me in a different way. David, being the son of Jesse, Goliath - slayer, King designate, actually humbled himself to a lower position and seek the help of Nabal and even went with a word of blessing.



How many times we can do that? Even as we journey through this 100k campaign, lets be like David, able to bring ourselves to see the needs of others and to go with a word of blessing .

You realised the foolish Nabal end up like a stone and he was later struck dead by the Lord. Lets not wait till we fall into this stage because we have allowed our own pride and foolishness to take over us and not allowed the Holy Spirit to come and bring us back to the cross of Jesus again!

Lets all choose to return back to God again!
