.: Lessons from SESAME STREET :.

Maybe it is re living my childhood days, but as I got up this morning and switched on the TV, nothing much attracted me other then SESAME STREET show. It seems boring initially, but since there is not better show, I just kept it at that channel and had my breakfast.

Interestingly they showed 4 different scenes which the message behind I felt was so relevant to the spiritual family as well as the 100k blessing.

The first one was teaching the children how to read the word FUN! Initially I thought oh.. just a simple word, but as it went along, I heard God asking me for this 100k, has it been fun for me? Woh God.. you like that also can! Haha..
My answer to that is off course YES! It was not only fun, but it has been an exciting journey for me!

The next scene was asking Big Bird to find Ernie. Then they went into this game where Big bird is suppose to find from a set of 4 pictures which picture is not the same as the rest in order to find Ernie hiding in that. It was an interesting scene but what I caught out of it was God showing me that in my 100k Blessing, there are still many out there waiting for us to find them to bless them, especially those who feel out of place, those who are different from others. Have I blessed them?
Seriously to this Question, I do not really know how to answer, as I feel there is still some part of me where I choose the people I want to bless even when I walk the streets, there are those that I know I wont approach. However it is mentioned in the bible, Jesus went to everyone, the sick, the poor and dirty and just bless them. I want to grow to be like Jesus, even in this area of blessing through this 100K.

The third scene was when Ernie and Bert was about to fall asleep and then Ernie tried to disturbe Bert from sleeping and ask him if he have thought about what are the things he love? Well immediately I thought, woh that's an interesting question.
Have we thought about what are the things we love?
They brought up many things they individually love, some both love them, some only one loves a certain thing, however at the end, they keep closing it with they still love each other most!
Isnt that exact the love of God over us? I mean even through this 100K, some might be able to bless many people, some a little, some face rejection, some went out of confort zone, some have a bigger heart to love the people, some still struggling to really love even their own parents. Well it does not matter, we all go through differently, but the ONE thing we need to know is that GOD STILL LOVE US, no matter what!

The last scene was something which I felt really good. The statement was " In no matter what situation, as long as you are willing to practice and put in the hard work, you will be able to succeed in doing it" The scene was showing some little kids who want to learn how to dance on silts and she mentioned at the end after much practice, and hard work, she manage to get it and to be able to join the performing group.

This is exactly so true for the 100K blessing. The more you practice doing and taking the step to move out, trying and not giving up after many set backs or rejection, you will see how the Lord can bless you back in return as you have bless others and how much you will grow through this journey!

Indeed I have seen this personally for my journey through this 100k and let it not just be my story, let it also be your own story!
My Questions for you:
1. Has the 100k blessing been a FUN one for you?
2. Have we missed out those who are different or seems to be difficult for us to bless?
3. Have we been tired out through failed attemps and rejection. Know that GOD LOVES YOU!
4. Are we puting in the practice and the hard work, or just choosing the easy way out?
