.: Elise & Anna's childlike faith! :.
A sms came from Yueh Ping Ah ma to ask me if I could help to babysit the kids yesterday. Immediately I agreed! Since one of my goal this year is to avail myself to help out my Spiritual mother in any way I can! Since the kids have been to my place and me and Joadine babysit them once before, that time was longer as well, I guess this time wont be much of a problem.
They are really loveable kids! Enjoyed just the few hours with them. Am amazed how obedient they are and how well mannered they are. Guess it is because they are told by YP not to misbehave, and also due to having my parents around, but I believe they have been well brought up by YC and YP. My dad kept saying they are so cute! Haha...
Anyway besides that, there is one thing which I would like to share on their childlike faith! It was last friday after my G12 when I was on the car back with the kids, Anna just suddenly made this statement as she asked YP:
" Mummy I invited my friends (........) down to expo." (apparently she named about 4 friends)
" Mummy, will they be coming down to expo?"
Upon hearing that. I was shocked, amazed and extremely proud of her buy yet felt a sudden hit or you can say wake up call by God. He was saying, look at this young girl, she might not even know how to properly share of the gospel to her friends, or even know that coming to expo is about coming to church, but yet she knows that that is a wonderful place and she has a wonderful God.
Have we lost that simple childlike faith to invite our friends down to church? Have we even just ask without having fear of other rejecting us?

.: Visiting to my House! :.
I thought I was really tired and busy entertaining people for the whole afternoon! Haha.. first it was the big bunch of my students who came.. and just when they wanted to leave, my wonderful spiritual family came! I also had my relavtives and many of them coming over to my place that night! And followed by all the cleaning up that needs to be done that night! Haha.. was amazed at how I manage to pull through that day!
Anyway it was just good simple family time again and indeed like what I sms many, I believe each one of your presence at my place did bring a change to the whole atmosphere at my place! It was during that time when the spitiual family was around one of my father's close friend also came. I knew that this uncle is a christain. I guess many of you all called me 'ah ma' hence it did catch the attention of my dad and this uncle while they were talking. My dad then called me and ask me that uncle wanted to know which church I am from.
Then my dad made a funny comment : " Uncle also worship the same God as you" Well that I actually already know.
However what was significant to me was when some of the girls were about to leave my place, and happen to be thIs uncle also was leaving, he said to me:
"Good job JuLee, keep it up on what you are doing. I am also a CG (cell group) leader myself"
It was an affirmation and a great encouragement to me then. But immdeiately I took this opportunity and answered in a way directing a question to my dad.
"Uncle, you tell that to my dad! He always say the things I am doing is a waste of time!" (joking manner)
Uncle: " I believe you dad is just concern for you on your time management"
Me:" However I am already working now, dont need the time to study anymore and time for work is already given during the weekdays."
While I was saying that I looked at my dad and then to the uncle. Well my dad just stood there and smiled. I believe my dad understood what I was trying to get to.
Most importantly, I believe that by the presence of the family, my dad is able to at least understand better all these while the time and effort that I have been putting in, is actually to the lives of each one of you! He is also able to know that at least even his friend is commenting me in this area of service and it would hence bring a different light to how he sees me giving my time to the spiritual family in the future!
Thanks once again family for making the difference in my family!

.: Chinese New Year Visiting :.
It was a fun time gathering together on the third day of Chinese New year and going from house to house to visit the spiritual family! Yeh and this is the first time we did it with the guys! Thanks Jasper son for inviting us over to his house for a wonderful steamboat and we found out how many people dont eat prawns and how many are willing to peel prawns. Haha! Enjoy the pictures!

First of all, HAPPY CNY! Hahaz… In this special occasion, I am here to post in our blog.. hahaz… just simply in the month of January & February, we had many many events…

~Sanctification Week
~Word Encounter
Well, tt’s the General Events we had… On Top of that, we had our reunion dinner for the CNY! =) hahaz.. Love the Family Time! So Family, So warmth… & the Chinatown Trip.. All our individual meetings, Fellowships etc… hahaz.. Hope all of us E not missing them all =D
Most of all is to Focus & Give thanks to God who has placed such Wonderful People in this Family! =D hahaz… Love Ah Ma, Love Daddy!
Still, Focus is God.. Lord, help us to understand it each moment we live..
Anyway, this verse strucked me a lot during the word encounter… hahaz.. perhaps it strucked me a lot coz I m kinda guilty of it & seeing ppl ard me in such situations…
It says in Luke 21 : 34 “Be Careful, or your heart will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness & the anxieties of life, & that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap.”
This may just b a sign of our life tt we may unknowingly fall into.. well, tt;s scary isn’t it?
Thus, we gona be watchful & guard our life w the word of God… hahaz.. still learning..
Thus, our spiritual leaders say… it all boils down to our PERSONAL TIME W GOD!
Hahaz.. Even Jesus move away from the crowd to go to a solitary place to spend time to chit chat w God.. Mark 1 : 35. What more we? =D
Happens to me toO… at the end of the day, no satisfaction, felt no life, felt far away from God, wondered what I busy with.. at the end of the day, only realizing tt I had been really really careless & Allow such anxieties of Life to consume me..
Let’s go back to our Father every little moment of our Life coz He is the Almighty Creator who knew best what we R Made for & how =D

.: Happy Chinese New Year! :.
Check this out! Cool right? Yeh that was what happen before reunion dinner at my uncle's place on CNY eve. This year it was slightly special for my family, we had two reunion gathering that day, onc steamboat lunch at COCO restaurant which was my father's side and the other dinner pot luck at my uncle's place which was my mother's side.
What you see in the picture is actually the entire family coming together, linking hands to say grace before dinner, before we lao yu shen. It was a wonderful sight I thought and indeed I believe God must be smiling above as He sees us linking hands. My grandma and aunty being the older few in the household are Christains, hence she told us all to link our hands together as my youngest aunt read out some prayer together with words from the bible in chinesen as part of grace as well as blessings for the coming New Year upon every family. Half of my relatives including my parents have yet to receive christ and yet all just link their hands and prayed along in aggrement. I see it as a huge breakthrough in my family and just want to keep believing God for the salvations of each and everyone who has yet to be saved. I believe those relatives who are believers, especially my eldest aunt, has always been praying for the family that each one of us will come to know the Lord! I claim that in the name of Jesus!
So how have your CNY been? Keep posting to update each other!

.: Chinatown! Here we come! :.
The noise, the atmosphere, the squeezing through people definitely brings out the festive period as we walk down the lanes of Chinatown. Although it was only a small group of us, I believe each one of us enjoyed ourselves, taking all the funny shots, talking about all the interesting matters as well as some felt a bit cheated by the uncle in overcharging! In the end it was just good pure fun family time with all my nephews and daughter!
Really blessed by family as it is each one of you that makes it family!

.: Cell reunion Dinner! :.
Chinese New Year is round the corner and it is also a time where the family will gather over a hot steamboat dinner! This is the first time as a cell we did such thing and I am so glad it went about smoothly, great thanks to our dear coordinators Jaren and Jessica! So blessed by their heart to serve!
Although at the end had much to prepare and in the mist of all these cut my finger, but I am really so glad that many turned up and believe we all had a great time, just standing around the BOAT and scooping out the TREASURES inside, chatting and shring more with each other!
Family cant be Family without each one of you! Love you lots!

.: Have we seen the Lord so close? :.
Luke 9: 29 " As he was praying, the appearance of His face changed, and his clothes become as bright as a flash of lightning. "
What is the first thing that come to your mind even as you read this. The context of it is that Jesus went up to the mountains to pray and he brought along with Him peter, John and James. They were amazed at what they saw at the mountain. One of which was mentioned by the verse above.
I too also want to go up the mountains and pray with Jesus, but more then that, I want to see the glory of the Lord, I want to see Him face to face! I really desire to just listen to the voice of God, His words, so powerful indeed. Just like what is it mentioned
Luke9:35 "A voice came form the cloud saying "This is my Son, who I have chosen; listen to him""
It was mentioned that there was also Moses and Elijah talking then, but then God spoke to the disciples to just listen to Jesus himself. I want to walk after the Lord, with all my Heart!
What then is your stand and have you seen the Lord so close as His disciple did?

.: Santification and Word Encounter! :.
All I can say is that this year the Santification wk is something different and special form that of previous years! Furthermore it was smack right on the same 3 days as my school Sec 2 camp. Thankfully my appeal to run out of the camp to come down on the second day of Santification was successful, although it was rushing and tiring, but also must thank God for Mr Koh and his car.. haha which drove me from camp site to TC and back! *Phew*The few things that I took away form the 3 days of Santification are
1. We need to constantly seek to santify our lives and we can all live a holy life if we choose to stay close to God
2. God is proud of me and we need to first come to let His love fill us to love others!
3. God misses us and we all need to be hungry for the word!
What I did bring back from Santification as well as the word encounter is definitely a new passion to read the Word and I am convinced that it is so important to read the truths of God each day! Once again the message on the Father's love never fail to touch me and I really feel that God is so proud of us, each and every one of us, no matter how much or how little we have done! God also showed me on the last day this joy and freedom to live my life just being a daughter of Him as well as that in my word life, that I may find joy in reading and freedom from His words! So powerful these words are as there were the same words released and prayed upon me that night when I was kneeling at the altar!
Although some struggled to stay away the next morning during the Word encounter, however I believe all that came and just simply seat through and listen to the word did learn so much form what was heard! I finally undrestand better the background of the New Testament and hence this gives me so much more joy in wanting to read further and understand it more! It also brought me to realised there is actually so much truth in the bible that I have yet to realise!
One amazing thing that happen was also when my dad came back on saturday evening, he saw me and told me he misses me! I was like stun and right at that moment, I felt it was like God talking to me, telling me just like what Ps Eugene mentioned the night before about God missing us! Woh and my dad dont normally say such things, hence I felt it was really God's hands at work, wanting me to really know that He misses me and used my dad, of all people, to bring the message across to me! Woh, amazing!I believe at the end of the day it is how much we want to keep our lives santified and to b ehungry for the Lord, as I think it is not just a one time feel good and want to do many things kind of feeling, but it should be a commitment made to God individually! Have you take that step to move across in order to experience greater blessing form the Lord?

yeah.. the 3 days of Sanctification week has passed!!
well, i thk im very blessed by what was shared.. hahaz.. mayb i older liao then can understand a bit more.. hahaz..
so i m here to share what i learnt!! coz UNPROCESSED MATERIAL GOES TO WASTE! =x Hahaz..
Day 1 ; SANCTIFY BY THE TRUTH!
we kn what sanctification means.. it a progressive work of God b/w men & God such tt we can b away frm Sins & more Christlike..
so it's nt a ONE time thg..hehee
well, i thk i understand more abt kpin ourselves Holy.. we cant b 100% , like tt is God liao.. hahaz.. but only in his Holiness will we hear the voice of God..
yupz, i kn & understand God's grace a little more..
during the session , i felt tt i was being "Pulled Out" of the Audi to view the congregation.. hahaz.. feelin quite strange.. but i kn tt it's really by the Grace of God tt im sitting there & listening to Pastor..
feelin weird coz i kn tt if not for God's grace, iL b a "Passer-by" & Critise Church as some HOly Holy place & would view it as Lame.. hahaz..
so i really thk God tt im the one opening the bible & hearin his words instead of the ones critising=S
okie.. tt;s all..i gona ZzZZz liao if not i jia lat..
