.: Sticking to Routines :.

What is your daily routine like? Think about it before you even start reading. Does our daily routines have God in the picture?

Even as I was on my way to school this morning, something just caught me. I was so hurried to be out of the house by 610am, if not I might be late for the MRT which will come just around 2 mins after I reach the train station. Thats provided I walk not at a slow pace to the station, but a slightly moderate pace.

Just as I mentioned my usual morning procedure, I am sure many of you all can already find out the routines which I will always follow every morning. I was just sharing with my G12 sisters last G12 meeting that I wake up every morning at 550am and be out of the house by 610am, they were all mouth wide, shock! Wondering how I can get wash up, change, drink my cup of milo within such a short 20mins. Well I just told them, it is possible. As I thought about it, it can be possible as every morning, what comes next for me has already become a routine to me.

Good routines in our lives will build up discipline and hence they will allow us to also have a good sense of time. Just like it is our usual routine to brush our teeth every morning.
My question is how much of a routine have we build up on guarding those precious moments we have with the Lord?

My routine in this area will be reading the Word every morning once I reach my workplace, before the school starts for the day. At times I would have to go about my first 1h of PE lesson without having eaten breakfast, as I only have time to read the word and no time to eat. By then assambly and lessons would have started.
In my morning routine to school, I normally see the same people on the train, meet the same people when I walk into the staff room. Just like this, I believe God is also expecting me already every morning, to come and be with Him, to seek Him in prayer and read His word.

Lets build up good routines and stick to them, routines that emcompass the Lord in them. This will allow us to be really living a victorious live as each new day, we have nothing to worry, nothing to fear, nothing to hold us down, as we have a routine to seek Him first!

You say: "It's not worth it"
God says: It will be worth it
(Romans 8:28)
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

You say: "I can't forgive myself"
God says: I forgive you
(I John 1:9)
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
(Romans 8:1)
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

You say: "I can't manage"
God says: I will supply all your needs
(Philippians 4:19)
And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.

You say: "I'm afraid"
God says: I have not given you a spirit of fear
(II Timothy 1:7)
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.

You say: "I'm always worried and frustrated"
God says: Cast all your cares on Me
(I Peter 5:7)
Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.

You say: "I don't have enough faith"
God says: I've given everyone a measure of faith
(Romans 12:3)
For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.

You say: "I'm not smart enough"
God says: I give you wisdom
(I Corinthians 1:30)
It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.

You say: "I feel all alone"
God says: I will never leave you or forsake you
(Hebrews 13:5)
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.

Bless you all, honeybuns!

Many maaaany love,
Huiyu

.: A glimps of multitudes! :.

Yes indeed I had a glimps of multitudes that day! Haha.. thats exactly what I posted on the Dreamermovershaker blog. Do check it out there.

Anyway what I wanted to say is indeed this entire event have definitely push me out of my comfort zone. and just increase my level of faith as I choose to believe God for the harvest. I remembered just a week before the event, me and Huimin gathers in our staff longue and we were just sharing about about our progress on invitation as well as gathering to pray. I just felt lead to ask her how many she expect from our school to be turning up for the event. She said maybe 4-5 of them? Then immediately I also do not know how come, I had so much faith to tell her, no we cant just pray for such numbers. And I just told her I am believing for 30 people from our school to turn up.

" According to your level of faith, so it shall be given unto you"

Isn't it amazing how God works at times! I really have nothing more to say but just keep thanking the Lord for that wonderful day!

The more I walk with Him, the more I love Him and I just cant imagine a day without Him! My new found Boy friend! Haha.. and He is definitely the cutest of them all!

.: it's just the beginning! :.

thank God for today!
hahas.
dunno why somehow today i am very jing sheng.
can blog two times.
especially the first one is so long.
hohohos.
actually wanted to post this tmr.
but since i am still awake and not tired,
shall do it today.
hehes.

anyways,
in the book that i am currently reading,
the writer wrote this::
“ to fear God is to esteem, honor and hold Him in the highest regard, as well as to venerate and reverence Him. It is to tremble with the greatest respect for Him, in His presence, and His commands, as well as wishes. This is only the beginning.

yups.
notice, it’s just the beginning when you fear God!
hahas.
having the fear if the Lord does not mean you are very holy liaos.
but rather, it’s the just start of your journey with God!
how amazing!
hohohos.
there's more to come!
more tests will come onto you.
be it they are from God or the devil, they will come.
if you truly fear God from the bottom of your heart,
there’s nothing you need to worry.
for if you truly fear God from the bottom of your heart,
the fear itself will manifest in your outward actions and what you speak!

remember, the fear of the Lord begins in your heart.
not in your mind, in your hands, in your house, your room, not anywhere but in your heart!
so if you truly fear God, your actions and your words speak.
in my previous post, i remember telling you guys not to be someone who worship God with your mouths right?
just want to re-emphasize on this.
cos you can say anything that you read from the bible or interpret the parables in the bible with you intellect.
you may sound “holy” but God knows it all.
you can never hide things from the eyes of God.
you can say all the things you know about God from the bible but you may not know Him!

.: fear of the Lord! :.

yeah!
hahas.
am back here to blog again!
hohohos.
Thank God for today!!
Thank God for Good Friday, thank God for Easter Sunday.
Thank God for dying on the Cross for me and for everyone here.
it was indeed by God’s grace and mercy that we are saved by His one and only son, Jesus Christ.
it was by His grace and mercy that we can come to Him once again.
Thank God!

well,
it was a remarkable day for me yesterday.
my cousins received Jesus Christ into their lives!
seeing my cousins received Christ is definitely a further step up of faith in seeing my family coming to know the Lord!
and i’m really trusting God for this!
plus, i can tell that my cousins really love you people(ee jay and his cell) and they are keen to know God more.
they asked me many questions, especially junhan, the younger one.
like “how to thank God for food? What must we say?” , “how to read bible?” etc.
plus, jun han, actually smsed alvin and asked him what he should say to God before he goes to sleep so that his leg can be healed? (his leg always cramp esp in very cold room/place.)
wah! i tell you, it melts my heart!
also,he showed me what is child-like faith can?
i really thank God for this.
as we were wondering or rather worry that their parents will not allow them to become Christians,
junhan actually asked me, “Jie, why not you help me tell my mama i want to become a Christian, can?”
seriously, i almost cried.
i didn’t answer him.
cos many thoughts was on my mind.
thoughts like “how should tell her mother?” , “later their father not happy how arh?” etc
but God is good.
He told me not to worry.
so,will just do it!=P
do keep me in prayer! Thanks!
all glory to God!=))

anyway,
i am here to blog something that God showed me.
it’s gonna be long.
but i hope that you will continue to read on.
Thank you.

well,
as this season of going deep is coming to the end,
i sensed God wanting us to pause for a moment and quiet down our hearts before Him and have a good heart check with the Lord.
NOT the physical conditions but the spiritual status of your heart!
ask yourself this,in this season of going deep,
how much have you been actively going deep in His words, drawing closer to Him, knowing His heartbeat better?
how much have you been actively engaging God in prayer, in the Spirit?

find it difficult to answer?
have you wonder why?
is it because you are too busy with your work/entertaining friends/ social life?
is it because you are too tired, too sleepy?
is it because you want to play games? Etc
STOP giving yourself excuses!!
time to wake up!

if you have not been doing so, there can ONLY be ONE reason.
and that is because,
YOU LACK THE HOLY FEAR OF THE LORD!
why i say that?
because, if you have the fear of the Lord,
naturally, you will yearn to spend time with God.
it’s important that we have the fear of the Lord.
the root of sin is disobedience.
and I believe most of you know that sin separates us from God, making us unable to draw near to Him.
notice!
i said that the separation is “us from God” NOT “God from us”, for He yearns to know us intimately!
it's our doings that make us can’t go to Him.
so what has it to do with the fear of the Lord?
well,
the root of disobedience is the LACK OF HOLY FEAR OF GOD.
in short, the root of sin = the lack of Holy Fear of God.
clearer?
so it’s important that we have the fear of the Lord to prevent us from sinning and safe from the devil’s hand!
the fear of the Lord is the bullet proof armor of God, wore in the most inner side=)

BUT, there are 2 types of the fear of the Lord.
1st type of fear is being afraid of God, or rather, being “scared” of God.
it's just as if God has given us the spirit of fear.
to put it in a clearer way,
first type of fear is the kind of fear of God when you do something wrong.
you know that what you had done will be exposed before God, so you are feeling afraid of Him as you are afraid that He will expose you.

second type of fear is the Holy Fear of the Lord.
this holy fear of the Lord means to reverence and honor Him and to tremble with the greatest respect for God.
this fear also encompasses we love what God loves, we hate what He hates, what is important to Him become important to us, His priorities and desires become ours!
this fear is obedience to His commandments and prevent us from sinning against the Lord, not the love of God. (Philippians 2:12, Hebrews 12:28-29, 2 Corinthians 7:1)
fear of the Lord is the foundation of the walk with God and ministry, not the love of God.
to go deep in Him and His words also starts with the fear of the Lord and God will share with you His secret with you when you are close to His heart if you truly fear Him. (Psalm 25:14)
just like we will share our secrets with our closest friend rather than friends.

so, which fear are you having?
Or you do not fear God at all?
please get it clear.
it's never too late to come back to God with a heart of repentance for God is a God of second chance.
without the fear of the Lord, it’s impossible for us to go deep in Him.
and the conditions of our heart are very important.
because God sees our hearts more than actions/what we speak.
be careful, don't be someone who honors God with your mouth! (Isaiah 29:13)
sit down quietly before the Lord and have a good spiritual heart check with Him!

.: Passion Week Day 3-4 :.

Jesus had his final meal with his disciples before He was hung on the cross. Even during that time, He already knew who was the one who will be betraying him and how his disciples will deny of him or leave him during the moments of his crucifixion.
How much the disciples argue and deny that they will not forsick the Lord, and they are even ready to go with him to prision and to death

Luke 22:33 "But he(Peter) replied, "Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death."

However when reality struck them, they not only cant accept it, those words which came out from the very mouth of them become dust in the air. It no longer had any meaning as their actions was just the very opposite of what they told Jesus.

Think about it, many a times we fall into this same problem which the disciples face, just like Peter, we end up not doing what we say when the truth hits us. Has it because we were not taught well, or was it because we just are not convicted to WALK the TALK, to mean what we say?
As we read on in the bible, it was only after the diciples see and experience the reality of the Lord as Jesus rose again on the third day, then were they so convited in the spirit till they really are willing to die for JESUS this time round!

Lets pray and ask the Lord today, that our hearts be convicted to Do what we Say and Say what we Do! Lets not be hyprocrites and only do the "talking BIG" part and no action!

.: Passion Week Day 1-2 :.

Even as we approach into the passion week, I would want to journey through once again the path that Jesus took before he was hung onto the cross. Lets take time to reflect and appreciate the greatness of what this men, the Son of God went through for each one of us.

Events Prior to the Last supper:

Jesus gathered his disciples to wash their feet.

It speaks of such great humidity for a King to do such a thing, for the Son of Men to wash the feet of men.

Why then did Jesus have to do such a thing as this?

" Having loved his own who were in the world, he now showed them the full extend of his love(which is the wash the feet of his disciple)" John 13:1

Even as I reflect upon this, I truely can say my love for my disciples is nothing compared to the love that Jesus had. Indeed there is so much to be learnt just from this simple act that Jesus have done!

"Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet. You also should wash one another's feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them." John 13: 14-17

So you may be asking what then is the pratical step which each and everyone of us can take even as we learn to walk in the steps of Jesus. Like what has been mentioned in the passage above, lets move on "washing" the feet of others, by loving others like how the Lord has done.

Its the time to spread of the word of the Lord to the people around with the love that Jesus has first deposited in our hearts!
